In direct response the Georgia Avenue MetroPCS controversy that had people across America looking at the nation’s capital’s greatest export; Go-Go Music, I decided to make a Mixtape Monday dedicated to the music that made me.

Every Go-Go enthusiast has their favorite era. I was born in 1986 and spent my childhood in 90’s Washington D.C. Aside from getting Rap Snacks and BBQ sunflower seeds from the ice cream truck, one of my favorite uniquely D.C memories is getting the Go-Go version of whatever song was hot at the moment.
